Sawyer is great!! We met with Natalie at LiveWell Locators after a disappointing experience elsewhere with an agent who did little more than send us apartment names. Natalie was phenomenal in comparison. She was generous with her time and in sharing her extensive knowledge of the Austin market. She is a wealth of information especially with often overlooked but highly important details, like the caliber of property management companies. She also cut-through the muddle of apartment sales gimmicks and clarified what the “deals” really meant. Working with Merricka has been next level. Being on the receiving end of the leasing process i know that if Merricka brings someone through my door she's already taken the time to do the homework and identify the needs of her clients. Shes already done the legwork and feels that my community is a true fit. This one’s for YOU, Shelly!We were EXHAUSTED trying to find a decent and affordable place to live. I moved to the area from California and had no clue about Austin, and my niece stuck to San Marcos, an area familiar to her, so she didn’t know Austin either. We both got new jobs and wanted to be closer to the city… but anything remotely close to downtown and North Austin was severely out of our range. On top of that, we wanted a safe area since my niece’s baby needed a good daycare. We tried going through realty groups, but they were doing this thing of trying to force us into signing tenant agreements BEFORE looking, so we were at our wits end.A coworker suggested finding an apartment locator, so I went online and messaged a few and Shelly Austin immediately got back to us. BEST DECISION EVER. Shelly did some VERY good research for us and initially suggested a few that were sort of what we were looking for, but nearing the end of her list, she suggested a place that seemed perfect and off we all went. I couldn't enjoy my new apartment without taking a moment to give my locator, Shelly Austin, the praise she deserves. In March I moved back down to CenTex from DFW due to no longer being able to manage my debilitating auto immune disorder and graduate school. Because of my illness, I found myself in a chronic battle with my finances, which contributed to the early breaking of my lease. I thought by not having any evictions, I would be able to find someone to rent to me...boy was I wrong. Apparently, it's not necessary to house people without perfect credit, even with a higher deposit and/or willingness to pay a risk fee. What compounded my housing situation, was the unexpected and untimely loss of my new job and eventually new car. Not being able to secure an apartment, I found myself having to live in extended stay type hotels, quickly ravaging the last of my finances. Out of utter frustration, I sought out assistance from, not 1 locator but 2 apartment locators! These first locator told me that it was virtually impossible to find me a place to live with a recent broken lease, the second one just ghosted me out of nowhere. After 3 months of living out of motels and barreling through the last of my savings, I was encouraged quite passionately to Shelly Austin, after I rolled my eyes at least 12 times while the young lady talked about Shelly. As you can imagine, I was apprehensive about participating in another unsuccessful round of apartment roulette but to my WONDERFUL surprise, Shelly was different and, in my personal opinion, a miracle worker! After 3 months of housing insecurity and being shamefully denied over and over again for an apartment, IN ONE DAY, Shelly not only found me an apartment complex that was willing to rent to me but the place was not in a "questionable" neighborhood and was really nice looking and had been upgraded on the inside, (after 3 months in motels I was about ready to live in whatever apartment would take me). The woman is a God sent and the toughest advocate for her clients. With the escalating cost of living and housing prices going up sporadically, it takes a gifted and talented person (locator) that can navigate and network so eloquently throughout CenTex, that people like myself can also thrive and flourish in the constantly changing demographics and dynamics of Austin and its surrounding areas. Lastly, I want to emphasize that it doesn't really take skill to place people with unmarred credit and rental history, but it takes expertise and extraordinary skill to locate complexes/landlords that are willing to rent to those with imperfect rental and credit history, due to unforeseen and/or unavoidable circumstances. That person will always be Shelly Austin!Thank you Shelly for being the catalyst in finding my new home! If anyone needs a locator that is highly connected in the surrounding Austin area, knows how to build collaborative relationships, and can advocate her tail off for her clients, then I personally recommend Shelly.

As my own thank you for her endless help, I promised Haley a (well-earned) 5 star review that would knock her socks off, so here goes. I'm making the first big move of my life to Austin and, as I began trying to figure out where I'd be living, was pretty overwhelmed. I called up a few locator services, most of whom appeared to be "bigger" that LiveWell since they're a bit newer as a company. After a quick chat with Haley though, I knew right away from her enthusiasm, knowledge, and kind demeanor that she was the best person to help me find the perfect apartment. Being very picky, I didn't make the initial scouting process very easy; but, that didn't stop Haley from being in constant contact and carefully considering every piece of feedback I gave on different options so that she could continue sending me new ones that were better and better suited to what I was really looking for.I then had the chance to be in Austin a month before my actual move, but only had the weekend available to tour a big short-list of apartments. Haley spent the majority of her Saturday touring with me, sharply noting every important piece of information from the leasing agents, taking photos and videos of each location to help me keep them straight, and ultimately just turning a process that would've made my head spin into a fun day full of learning about my soon-to-be city.To sum it up, I've seen Live Well respond to some other 5 star reviews of Haley by saying "it's like looking for an apartment with your friend" and I couldn't agree more. Beyond her skills as a locator and lifelong Austinite, she was such a joy to communicate with and be around—there was just as many laughs as there was apartment talk on our day of touring. I've since signed a lease for an apartment I'm completely thrilled about, and it's all thanks to her hard work.I apologized to Haley at least a dozen times for texting her lengthy "novels" about my thoughts on the apartment search as we went, which she always refused to let me be sorry for, saying "this is what I do!". This review will not do justice to the level of professionalism, commitment, and genuine care we received from Angel Gaspar at Live Well Apartment Locators.My wife and I had accepted new positions in Austin, TX and needed to relocate from Houston. We were pressed for time because the kids also needed to be enrolled in a new school. We tried to do it on our own, but continuously hit roadblocks (credit issues, fraud alerts, long screening process, losing money on applications, etc.). We couldn't understand why we weren't getting approved since we were homeowners. We were discouraged to say the least.On our last day in Austin, I came across an ad for Live Well Apartment Locators. Unfamiliar with this type of service, I decided to give them a call. Within minutes I was in the phone with Angel (truly an Angel, I believe). Where do I begin??Ok from the beginning, I had decided to relocate to the Austin area from Georgia and just like any other "i can find and figure it out by myself" person, I spent hours and hours doing research of locations and places I could possibly consider calling my next home. After hours and hours of failed research and being left more confused and hopeless I came to a conclusion that I probably would not find something that would check all of the boxes. Then the countdown started and i only had about 3 weeks to find a place and still as clueless and helpless as a newborn baby I felt defeated and somehow I broke down and started looking for apartment locators. The first person, just did not mesh with my vibe and so we won't speak on that. This story is solely about the angel in disguise, SHELLY AUSTIN. I ran across her name and prayed that she would be the answer to my prayers, not knowing what to expect, I reached out and within 30 minutes she responded. WHO DOES THAT IN THIS BUSY WORLD WE LIVE IN?! I immediately got excited upon speaking with her and how easy she was to speak with. I had major challenges and obstacles in my way but she literally clicked each issue, concern, and obstacle at the snap of Thanos' fingers. She listened to my needs and requirements before she came up with a list that made it extremely hard to choose from but with her making it seem as if I was just talking to one of my girlfriends instead of it being transactional it eased everything. From me being timid to reach out to the apartment of choice by myself, she took it upon herself to ask and verify any questions I had regarding the place. Shelly literally made me feel as if I was her only client, even though I know I was not because her phone was blowing up, but she NEVER cut our time short to help the next person. In other words, be warned that apartment locators who only send lists and schedule your tours likely aren’t sending you every option. (gasp!)

Do you only find apartments?

We can find apartments, townhomes, condos and even some single family rental homes if they are managed and owned by a single management company. We don’t have access to rentals that are privately managed.
